 Databases are available to Massachusetts residents and are a excellent choice when your doing research. Although using the Google Search might easier it may not be as accurate as a database.
    Databases are good for students doing research. Students will usually see on databases e-books, current and old newspapers, magazines, journals and articles. Why should we use databases?

• It is very easy and quick to find information
• Data can be searched quickly 
• Full Text articles mean you may be able to print out.
• Use a database when you want data that is very current. Many owners and writers of commercial databases update their data regularly . Would you want a engineering book that is 3 years old or a engineering database that is updated every month?
• Although you'd probably want a book if you were researching the history of South America you might use a database to look for online documents or encyclopedia articles to support your research and answers.
• Generally, use a database when you need to find specific information.
